After tea, we will go for morning walk to the nearby villages. Later, return back for breakfast. After breakfast, we will leave for the village of Purushwadi located in Ahmednagar district. The tribal village of Purushwadi is inhabited by the ‘Hindu Mahadev Koli’ tribe and renowned for as rice cultivators and skilled animal herdsmen.
The villagers here are warm, simple & full of wonder. The local communities are predominantly tribal and concentrate on cultivation and animal husbandry for their livelihoods. Among different tribes of the region are bails, kolis mahadevs, thakars, koli dhors, tokre kolis, pardhis, koknas, warlis, kathodis and katkaris.
On reaching at Purushwadi, check into the village house or tent. After fresh-n-up indulge in an orientation about the village and their folk. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Purushwadi.

 

 

After breakfast, we will participate in the daily life of the locals by visiting their homes. One can also try his / her hand to prepare the food with the help of local in their traditional way. After breakfast, have a pleasant chat with the villagers before setting off for the city life. Further, bid farewell to our rustic tour and drive to Mumbai. On arrival, check into hotel. Evening is free for leisure. An overnight stay at the hotel.
